Our friend Jeff Rider has been working on Sherlock Holmes "sequel" series in comic form 

 "Major Holmes and Captain Watson" 

When Major Sheffield Holmes, nephew to the great detective, and his  mysterious American partner Capt. Imogen Watson solve a grisly murder in  London’s East End in 1914, they uncover a dark cabal that threatens not  just the Holmes family but all of Europe! Joined by the gruff  Detective Inspector Agamemmnon J. Brick of Scotland Yard and the irascible  mechanic Juliette McKinnon, the new Holmes and Watson must stalk the street of London and beyond to root out a dark secret and stave off a global war!

Its a cool series and we think you will enjoy it.

At New Paradigm Studios our work on " Watson and Holmes" is being focused on a live action adaptation versus new comics. After 18 months of development (we had a pilot script), we got the property back from the network in May. After that experience, we decided to take a different direction with production partners since the previous production team and network didnt quite match our vision for the property.   Right now we have a writer who is VERY experienced with the property ,who is working on a pitch package to get the right partners and network/streamer for us.  Any new "Watson and Holmes" stories will likely be in some live action form (Hopefully TV series) . Our focus now is on other series we have developed, which we are working on right now, and should have more news on. We will preview some pages here very soon.  There is a possibility in the future for more "Watson and Holmes" comic stories, and more likely to happen if we do go in to live action production.  

We wanted to show you Jeff Rider's series, since it may be something you folks would be interested in backing and enjoy.  We will post any Holmesian projects that pop up that you folks might want to check out.

Heres a link to a great Lovecraftian Comic Anthology by Wannabee Press! This a fantastic project, and we were lucky to make the cut with our story in there.  We got 4 pages with art by Brandon Perlow, script by Paul Mendoza, and letters by Wilson Ramos Jr. The book is 176 pages and has a ton of other talented creators. Check it out and pledge!

New Year and finishing the fulfillment- overseas and canada shipping

Hey folks, it was a LONG January for me, but I will be able to start shipping packages overseas and Canada this weekend.  Paul and I will get working on the cards, and I'll be also getting the Tshirts out. Anyone who hasnt update their addresses and rewards to backerkit, should do so ASAP. Also if anyone has moved  or needs a size change for their shirts, please let me know thru backerkit.

One of things that I really didnt appreciate the difficulty was the logistics of overseas and canada. Im looking at other solutions to solve this dilemma in the future. If anyone has printed books/comics and has done fulfillment in Europe, I am curious to your solutions. 

Winter of Discontent

Its been a tough winter for me personally, as Ive treaded water financially due to slow freelance work.  Winters in the past few years have been my toughest season. I just have not had the spare money to do any shipping overseas. It been pretty much pay bills and rent.  That being said theres light to every tunnel. I expect to have some money coming in,  some of it will be used to finish shipping costs, t-shirts, and cards to all the backers. The money is  coming from a legal settlement unrelated to business/work. I expect the payment hopefully by the end of this month or shortly after the holidays. Its pretty much on lawyer time and the other side signing paperwork. My expectation is start full round of shipping by end of first week of January. 

So other than that I hope you all have a merry christmas and happy holidays.
